Color Song Jacket

One-of-a-kind upcycled denim jacket transformed into a wearable textile collage. Layers of hand-dyed denim cover the back in coral, pink, turquoise, indigo, orange and soft yellow, with raw edges and hand stitching throughout. Each patch was individually altered using different processes, including SolarFast sun dye, glue resist, flour resist, bleach and layered color.

Look closely and every piece tells a slightly different story—cracks, washes, fading, marks and unexpected color created through repeated experimentation. The original pale-blue denim remains visible around the collage, framing the whole thing.
